RP236. Casa Provença
Eugenia wanted a house without a living room. A house where the kitchen was the core of social life and everyone had a good spacious bedroom where they had their own world. He decided to reform a house in a 1900 building located in the Eixample of Barcelona, exchanging the day and night areas to achieve this uncommon distribution.
The cement homogenizes all the rooms and protects the wetlands, takes a step back and leaves the prominence to the dark woods and the porcelain, materials that have been present in the project since the first meeting.
Es restauren portes i finestres de fusta existents, mantenint part de l’essència de l’habitatge original per fer-les contrastar amb les portes corredisses metàl·liques amb vidre fumat d’acabat mirall.
