T70. Casa Tallers
Jesús and Modesto wanted to change their apartment in the Ciutat Vella neighborhood, dark, compartmentalized and with noise problems. They wanted to remove corridors and missed a large day space where to invite their friends to try the Water of Valencia of Jesus and a quiet night space without discomfort for them.
With the central box that houses the toilet and functions as a distributor we removed areas of circulation and its loss of space. The perimeter of the wet area is used as a large piece of furniture that distributes the living room and dining room. The library exhibits its books and objects collected on trips and removals, serves the dining area and collects the coats releasing the house hall.
With varnished waterproof MDF the winding furniture is built, the wet area gives prominence to green and macael marble. In the bedroom with the custom furniture we took advantage of each corner to store, suggesting the beach interior design of the 80s and the blinds of the Barcelona facades.
