EMA (Estudi Maria Aucejo) was founded in 2019 between Barcelona and Valencia. Our work is characterized by the fluidity of the creative process according to the needs of each project, the study of context and inherited landscape. In our practice we reconcile construction projects with architectural dissemination and theoretical research. Projecting from residential and commercial spaces to exhibitions and theatrical scenography, with special care on the most human scale and the absence of prejudices.
Maria Aucejo Mollà studied at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/Eindhoven), the Netherlands, at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Valencia (ETSAV, UPV) and did the postgraduate degree in Anthropology of Architecture at the University of Barcelona.
Architects such as Adrián Ripoll Ortolà, Paula Castellanos Ayala, Antonio Costa Ballester and Alejandro Precioso Cuerda have collaborated in EMA.
